New clutch?

Our C4 went in for clutch and flywheel today,its been heavyish since we got it,can't wait to see the improvement, been bugging me!

1990 C4(i reckon the clutch flywheel was original aswell- stalls easily,keep your fingers crossed)[:)]
 
Just had great drive back from Malton,car runs great now- clutch MUCH lighter,smoother, bites low down,all under warranty,very appreciative of that.What a nice bunch.

It's great when some work on the car makes such a big difference. I'm very pleased for you. I know how you feel after having a full wheel alignment done on mine which has transformed the cars handling[:)]
 
I've just had my car serviced at Northway and been told my clutch is on it's way out so, what cost will I be looking at for a new clutch. Figures of around £1,000 sounds like the going rate?
