Hi Derek

That is great, look forward to meeting you . Not sure if I am going tomorrow night or not, depends how cold it is and how much frost [;)]

Jane

Having spoken to other PCGB members, it seems that this evening's meeting may not be on, ( not confirmed with our RO though ) so I will give it a miss, and weather permitting go next month[;)]

Hope you enjoyed it last night it is always a bit daunting comming along to your first meeting ,but hopefully you where made welcome .CLCH are good and very reasonable good recommend

Brian

Jeff,

Cost me £58 for the alignment, well worth it too. I recommend them to all as it's easy to arrange an appointment to suit which saves sitting around waiting.

Jane, Brian,

I really enjoyed the meeting and will be back next month too, thank you all for your hospitality.

Bill

Congratulations Al.......and a nice car that is too. Don't blame you for being excited!!

Welcome to the Scottish clan ..hope you enjoy your new car you certainly stay in a nice part of the country.Have driven that road many times over the single track road to Kenmore in fact that used to be the route when we did the Callander Classic weekends .There are a few independents in the south west that can be recommended .Hope to see you at an event some time in the new year stay in touch on the forum that is where all the action happens and events are posted .
Brian

Hi Al

Welcome along to the club I am sure that you will enjoy it [:D]

As has been said, no wonder you are excited, I remember when I got my Porsche I could not sleep for a week before I got it [8D]

Hope to see you at some of the meets if you can make it

Jane [;)]

Al,
I go through Amulree every Friday night! I'll give you a wave if I see you in the Sma Glen.

There is a farmer who lends his hand to porker servicing up Glen Quoich!

Avoid at all costs!

Ah, the road from Gilmerton to Aberfeldy, thro Amulree ... a long standing favourite of mine [;)]
I'll wave too if I see a Turbo.
Peter at Motortune is indeed excellent, but with a valuable late model like a 997 turbo I'd be tempted to stick with the official dealers. I have to say I have been very impressed with the service I have had from OPC Edinburgh recently. Expensive admittedly, but probably worth it in view of the value of the car.
Welcome on board.

I know I'm lucky with so many good roads to enjoy in the vicinity to Amulree.  The Glen Quaich road to Kenmore is excellent.  I've seen many different car clubs take the road.  I think the record stands with the Mini.  I counted 35 of them in a long line.  I wouldn't want to meet them on any of the hair-pin bends.

Wylie,

Welcome to the club (although I havent received confirmation from the club of your membership as you will get a personal email from me)

We have meetings first Tue of each month at Sherbrooke Hotel near Ibrox and the first Thu of each month at the Dakota hotel in South Queensferry, plus we always aim to have a meeting/run/visit the third wed of each month with the venue posted in the club magazine and normally on the forum.

Our meetings in December will be quite i would imagine as the Christmas night out is the same week, however I will be along for a beer on both nights. We also have a Christmas weekend away at Dunalistair the weekend before Christmas which is probably the best weekend of the year. I understand 24 people are attending to date so there should still be places left if you wish to come along.

Give me a call anytime if you want to discuss anthing

regards
Scott

Welcome to the club/forum David. Like Brian has suggested, the 928 chappie will be able to help you out although, look on Pistonheads, ebay and the for sale section on this forum and I'm sure you might come accross some spare bits and pieces.

I'm sure our RO Scott will let you know of all the club meetings and events in due course.

Kim

ps.........why the 2 user names, I was confused for a moment!! Or as some would say, I'm always confused!!
