If I can get Early 911 owners back into the fold - by giving them some real benefits like an early only trackday, better data capture etc. - and other benefits I'm trying to engineer - and through this get the Early 911 Register numbers up - hopefully it will help gain the exposure at all levels these old cars need [:)]

That's my theory anyway [;)]

As I said on the other forum, Congratulations.

I have recently changed from the 3.2 Carrera to the 2.4T, so how do I go about moving register ?

Happy to provide all the info for one of your new (on-line I hope) forms whenthey are available.

I'm still working on the new form - I've been focussing on re-organising the database and I'll post a summary over the weekend or early next week. Yes, the new form will be a .pdf form as well, I hope [;)]

Well done on the T - any pictures? [:)]

Well done Ian, I congratulate for taking this on, and if there is anything I can do to help, in a non-professional manner, please let me know.

A big hello to you all.

I am your new register secretary. I have written an article for the next PP due end of the month which explains what I am going to achieve for us all and what my plans are for the register.

I hope to get to know many of you over the next year and look forward to any input you have.

Regards.
Ian McLeod.

i applude you for taking this on Ian and as i said on the other thread if theres anything i can do to help then your just have to yell, you know where i am.

Thank you all for your welcome so far. And thanks for the offers of help Helen and Nick. I am sure to take you up on it in future.

Hard hat and thick skin not arrived yet. Haven't needed it yet so OK.

Just you wait! [;)]

Seriously, RS is one of the most rewarding roles and you have a Register full of people who really want to bring it back to life.

Look forward to seeing you in November!

Excellent news . . . thank you so much Ian . . .. so glad you're active on here and are therefore aware of the issues.

As per Helen and Nick, please shout if I can be of any assistance (07941 299 593).

Thanks again . . . and enjoy.

Phil

Well done Ian

The early cars do need a dedicated RS and I am sure you will get a lot of support, contrary to some comments from a variety of members this is not an onerous task if you get the occasional help and support. We are all behind you (so to speak[:D])

Have fun

Message to DEREK.....Why don`t you rejoin now that we have a new Reg Sec?

This would get him going[:D]

Have fun
