I am fortunate to have taken over as organiser for our region from Mike Pink, who has done a great job for nine years.

For those who don't know me, my name is Paul Ebbs (my car, a turquoise 993 Carrera 2).

The next monthly meeting is to be held, as previously, at Porsche Centre Silverstone, Towcester (NN12 6PF), from 1pm to 3pm on this Sunday, 9th October. I look forward to meeting you all again (and making sure you know who I am!). At this meeting we can discuss an alternative venue for a weekday evening (monthly) and any other questions/suggestions you may have on the future activities for our region.

Hope you can all make it - See you there![:D]

Paul

Congratulations and well done Paul for taking up the post.

You have my support, as did Mike and Sue, although of late my available time is a little less than it use to be. And I still have no car worthy of speaking of.

Tony

Good to see you taking on this important role for your region. I am sure you will make a great success of it and I look forward to seing you at events in 2012.

All the best.

Richard

Congrats! Best wishes for the future Paul [:)]. I'll be around to help-out when needed, but "it's over to you now" [;)].

Hopefully I can get along on Sunday.

Regards

Mike

Well done Paul, and good luck with the Region.

We are you regional neighbours and if you think we can be of assistants at any time just SHOUT!

Well done Paul for stepping up.

Caz and I hopefully will be able to make Sunday, be good to catch up again.

Hopefully see you all Sunday

Hi Paul,
Well I never this is a suprise, a nice one I might add!

Good luck to you on your new adventure.

Brad

Nice one Paul,
I'm sure with your enthusiasm you will carry the region forward.
See you all Sunday.

Gee, thanks for all the support[:)]

Richard Kirk: I am sure you will make a great success of it and I look forward to seing you

Richard, why don't you bring yourself and your lovely 931 over, if you can make it?

The car is tucked away for the winter now but I will try to take up your invitation to pop along to one of your meetings in the future.

The sun's slowly coming out and its going to be a nice week too. Definitely roof down weather! See you later.

OK, so the sun didn't exactly come out!

Thanks to all members who attended this Sunday's monthly meeting at OPC Silverstone (Towcester) - was good to see you all again. We had a good first meeting for me as RO.
In particular, big thanks to Robin and Jo Walker whose experienced guidance and enthusiasm are always greatly appreciated![:D]

Andy Willis and I dropped off at The Old Talbot, Pottersbury (on the A5, south of Towcester) on the way home to see if the pub might host an evening monthly meeting there. It seems like a good place; the proprietor (Neil Hudson) says he'd welcome a monthly gathering there for our region. It seems another Porsche club (I'll leave you to guess who that might be[;)]) are holding a Monday evening meet there already.

Brian Wiltshire is kindly looking into a couple more possible venues just up the road at Paulersbury, too.

So when I've had a little more feedback from people, we'll set up our new (alternative) evening monthly meeting place (as a try-out) maybe as soon as November.
Will keep you all posted.

Hi Paul,
Congratulations, sorry I could not get over yesterday, Sunday's not good, as spoken at the OU meeting.
Note the list of possible pub venues, how important is the use of a separate room, appreciate essential for a speaker/film etc but how often is that likely to occur?
Such a venue is available in Stony Stratford but not sure how far south members are happy to go?
