Afternoon all, I have just joined the forum and thought I'd introduce myself.

I am Dan, 30 , living in sunny Essex and have just bought my first 912.
I bought her from Max at Revival Cars (she's the Orange one on the website with the factory sunroof).

Obviously there's a few bits to be doing, first is to get the electrics checked out (it all works, just being safe) but other than that I'm looking forward to really using the car.

Please let me know if I ask too many questions.

Rgds,
Dan.

Welcome Dan!
Looked like a nice car that one... hope you two will be very happy.
Don't feel like you could ever ask too many questions, we are here to help. [:D]
Cheers
Gavin

Hi all again, as I am starting out I am a little short of the full technical info thats required but it's building.

  • What was the original tyre specification for the 15" pressed hub, my are on the large size and could do with a lower profile but I wanted to know the original sizes, at present they are a massive 86mm..?
  • Also, did they fit hazard lights as standard in 1967, I believe that I have the switch butI have to get it working..?

Rgds,
Dan.

Hi Dan I think most people fit 195 65 15's ( I think look up the search engines on this forum for the 912 tyre size ) and yes hazards... sounds like you have a small problem there..

Any pictures ....... all these new 912 owners..........cool!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys, they are the same as the ones I have on mine.
PRS did have my car for a week and found a poor repair to a 'torsion bar mount'. Aftre seeing your photos/details I think I'll get it quoted for repair.
I also had Paul make a list for me of things to be done and it looks like I bought a good one.

After looking into the 'hazard lights' problem it now looks like it never had them to start with..
