New to 944

ORIGINAL: MartinT

Hi Nick, it's a nice road from Mold to Denbigh with lots of interesting curves and if you know where to look the occasional stretch to pass the slower traffic. Let me know if you're going to be in the Bodelwyddan area and we'll try and meet up.

It is a great road, especially if you know it reasonably well![;)]

I'll let you know if I head out that way.

Enjoy your new car and let us have some pics as soon as poss![:)]

Its funny how people seem to come back to these cars: isnt it? I was heavily involved with FRs in the 1990s and I had sworn that I wouldnt buy another front engined Porsche. I held out for seven years, until a friend persuaded me to buy a Porsche for a charity rally that we were entered in. I still have the 944 along, now, with a very sound, but slightly shabby 924S. I am still determined not to spend more than £500 on a car though; and I certaintly wont be buying another Club Sport or 250.....

Welcome.

Mrs zcacogp and I do a Scripture Union camp each summer in Abersoch, on the Llyn Penninsula in North Wales. We usually travel from Bridgnorth to Shrewsbury where we pick up the A5, then across to Lake Bala and over the hills ... you have some simply superb roads there on which to enjoy a 944!

Oli.

Hi Oli

You're right there, that's why Top Gear amongst others are often up here.
