I have my priority's all wrong ! Seen this set of 17inch Boxster wheels on fleabay , they where up for £275 buy it now.
I sent the seller a MSG offering him £225 cash deal , he replied late that evening , so I could not refuse !
The center cap crest had not had the plastic removed yet . Tyres are still all just over 3mm , so good for wet drift ;)
I was toying with painting them matt black and leaving the spokes silver ? To look a little classic sort of Fuchs look ?
The picture with the black stickers on , I could paint over and then peel the stickers off to reveal the silver spokes ?
All feedback welcome , good and bad thanks.

There is feedback and then , there is been plane rude mate ! Not sure about awful ? Not suit the car might be enough :( I am glad I have thick skin .

Excuse me ! Stop showing your arse on the forum and been plane ignorant mate !
You have given your feedback and it is to each persons taste .
seem to me like you are turning green !
If we all worn the same plain grey shirts , the world would be a sad place .

Thanks to the other to forum members who state they like the wheel !

I am in two minds about them and I may change the tyre size as I intend to lower the front .

I don't want people to say they love them or they look great , but again there is just been plain rude mate and nasty !

I suggest you get fooked right away as your balls are massive and about to explode !

Cool thanks mate .
I hear what you say , good and bad welcome but then can't take negative ? I can take !

The Bin exhaust is a £350 Janspeed back box and rare . It came with the S2 when I bought it and it brings a smile to my face every time I drive through a large tunnel ? Near Manchester Airport under the runway tunnels ! Great Bin sound :)

I love your 993 and one day once I stop spending on the lower 944's I might own one .

They're all great cars, that's the important thing - have fun with them.

If someone doesn't like your choice, that's just their opinion... really not worth getting wound up about[;)][:)]

Nice looking car, and good colour combination. But the exhaust is not "me" and I prefer the wheels currently fitted. Though D90's would still be my first choice. I suppose when it comes to the S2, I like them best in standard trim. But if you drove past me in that I'd still think what good automotive taste you had, and I'd wave a lot!

Personally I think the standard 16" D90's suit the 944 best, and give the best ride on any road surface.

But..... It's your car and if you like them then go ahead and enjoy [:D]

Car looks good BTW

I think the wheels look a bit too modern but the exhaust looks fine. I bought my turbo after a test drive through "Ronaldo's" tunnel.

That rear badge though . . . ;)

I take on board all you say . This is not really a Purist car . I do appreciate all pure bloodline Porsches .
This S2 is just a bit of fun and the D90 wheels need a complete refurb and did let the side down a little .
I will keep the D90's with a great set of Michelin tyres in my garage for when I try and give the S2 away next year .
I just fancied a change of look and thought that for the money less than 60 pound a side it was worth buying them .
I love driving my S2 and brings so much joy for such little money .
I owned a purist S2 guards Red about 15 years ago and look back on those pictures !
Cosmetically , the only thing I have done to this S2 is change the wheels for now , all the other some features were already done by previous owners.
If you hear this S2 ? You will love the sound the Janspeed puts out .

We should arrange a meet up at the bottom end of Ronaldo's tunnel ? maybe once a month and blast it up and down a few times ? Bottom end where people miss that roundabout and end up in the field ? There is a little side road to the left towards the bottom runway near the holiday inn ? I am getting some onboard recording vid equipment , would be real fun :)
I think the Mercedes C63 sound awesome in the tunnels tooooo

+1 for the Janspeed exhaust I have the same one fitted and a bill from the previous owner for £1200! [:D]

sorry not a fan of the wheels[:(]

put it this way at that price you can't lose, I'm a bit of an originalist so prefer d90s but they are nice all the same.

a few people may be interested in this, unfortunately those alloys don't show, but i'd imagine the are sub 10kg per corner.

I've got a GoPro hard-wired to my roll cage (yeah, I don't do originality either) and will be at Oulton Park on Friday if you're about.

Don't know about a C63 but I've been through there in my dad's W12 Bentley CGT at full attack speed and that sounded pretty damn good :)

I also turned round at the holiday inn to go again.
