Brand new fitted last year for MOT with full thread- Nankangs (not my choice) the fronts are also full thread also a budget tyre but in perfect condition.

Made by Speedline, like my Gemballa wheels. I guess Porsche fitted them for the improved traction and corner speed.

 
for the look, I love the speedlines, and nothing wrong with a turbo RS rear wing

now if there is a spare 968 Techart front splitter needing a home................................................

 
Think the new wheels will look better in a different photo and in the flesh! Not sure the angle / lens combo does them any favours.

hence Drifters (Spinning rear wheels to slide) use this set up, you don't see many using tall /high profile sidewall tyres sizes because they create TOO Much traction & grip

Why do they put them on Modern sportcars? "Looks" to sell them and make them appealing and racey.

And Modern electronics sort out the loss of grip issues (ABS / Traction / Stability control etc...)

Carefully planned routes required although still reasonable clearance for most bumps. My Audi as below sometimes has arguments with the speed bumps.

 
That 944 looks nice lowered but it's unkind to the front ball joints. The potential consequences of a failure could be nasty.

and very expensive, i really don't get this craze of trying to lighten the car by grinding off its underside on bumps the size of matchsticks, like I don't get the VW mob and wide wheels with ridiculous small stretched tyres either.

my every day A4 has the sports suspension and that hits enough things, personally I could not live with a car that made me go out of my desired way just to avoid twigs, matchsticks and flattened coke cans

Each and to their own, the "Look" scene is massive and very popular and comes from many inspirations like lowered Racing cars, the stretched tyre thing and even the really slammed look and air ride

suspension is all aimed at being "cool", "Sick" and badass where the more weird and whacky the better it's seen...

What I disagree is with is many people think their car goes and handles better from many of the above, and it doesn't with more weight and unless the suspension is modified, revised and corrected.

What's made this worst is in time manufacturers have got more whacky with new car's designs : Aerodynamics, spoilers, styling but worst of all Wheel diameters have gone for the "bigger is best"

and I remember back in 1995 when 17's were just massive !

All the above combined with slammed BTCC race cars, the American hot rod slammed machines, all the corsa's in Tesco car parks and the huge amount of regional and national shows etc....

Slamming and Rimming a car is a Huge business and cult...but not for everyone !

Like the wheels better in that photo, car is a little low for my tastes and it is risky with the ball joints so keep an eye on them if you go for it!

I'd keep the RS4 and sell the S2.....
