Next Reading Drive - Sat 28 Jan

Hi Alex. Sounds great. I am definately available for the 28th so please put my name down, or on the reserve list if there are no spaces currently available.

Hi Alex, Happy 2012. It'll be just myself on the 28th. BTW - Think I must have missed you this morning at the OPC? I picked up my car after having a new software update done on my PDK, Muriel mentioned you had been in. You also got me thinking of calling Chris F to get the geo done again soon! Cheers
ORIGINAL: Alex L Please let me know if you are +1 for lunch on the 28th.

Thanks Simon. Yes I was in getting my car cleaned, and I took lots of pics of a showroom 991: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=672821

A spot on this drive on Sat just opened up - please let me know ASAP if you would like to join us!! [:)]

Alex, thanks again for the usual high standard of organisation for today's run. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. it was also good to see the regular faces and some new ones too. Liked the tour of the dealership (including seeing the 13 Carrera GTs!) and a GT1 for good measure. As I forgot my camera I've not got any piccies to put up but sure others will be posting some soon. On the way home I found myself being followed by my wife who came out a roundabout directly behind me. She promptly called me to tell me in no certain terms how ashamed I should be to be driving such a dirty car! [:)] I know what I'll be doing first thing tomorrow...... Anyway, great drive today and looking forward to next time. Cheers BTW: Mike - remember I want first refusal on the GT3 in 18 months time [:)]

Thanks Alex for another great drive and lovely to see old and new faces sorry we had to shoot off look forward to the next one [:D].

Many thanks Alex for another brilliant day out. As always well organised, great route, suberb lunch venue and menu accompanied by new and familiar faces. My co-pilot Peter thoroughly enjoyed his first visit to the Reading workshop and storage facility and as a former engineer appreciated the opportunity to get up and close to so many Carrera GT's. Expect we'll all be out first thing in the morning cleaning our rear number plates, if not the whole car! Regards to all . Mike. P.S. Option Accepted Simon! 997 GT3 gen 2 Carrara White Cayenne Diesel gen2 Umber

And another note of thanks. Great day out and again, sorry that we had to peel off before the very end. Look forward to seeing people on the next one. Paul

Alex Another well organised day of drive & dine! Good to meet old & new faces. Car got a respray today back to black after yesterdays attempt at instant 2 tone colours! surprised how quickly it cleaned up. Think leaving it outside in rain overnight helped. Thanks again

Many thanks Alex for a truly awesome day and all for making us welcome. Nice to see the OPC Reading, (I think we had the coffee machine on overdrive for a while....) The standard of driving ( except perhaps my own )and quality of cars was a terrific experience and thank you also for guiding the countryside tour. Hope to enjoy another day with you soon, best... Matt
