How many, particularly those in the North, cannot do days other than PCGB due to insurance restrictions???
I think most of us can and do other days.
I thoroughly enjoyed Cadwell Park when I did it (only once so far) --- but it's certainly on my radar for this year.
The problem with the Southern tracks is where cars aren't trailer'd, I have a 5000 mile limit and Jason says high mileages on collectables are a disadvantage .... [:-]
p.s. I like to see my 'mates !!

Jonathon Palmer where are you? Hopefully he's already seriously considering his Donington options. Meanwhile I still can't see much on thePCGB list to take my fancy, I was going to consider Snetterton in 2010 but its not on the list, probably due to lack of support from people like myself. It doesn't look good from here in the North, that's for sure, even worse than last year. Any suggestions? I probably cannot justify Spa even though I'd love to go.
Ian
Ian, this is maybe why we have to support whatever we can ???
Mel, my insurance with Peart (about £500/year) inc's 5 trackdays per year with any recognised organisations, not just PCGB.
I was budgetting for a chassis re-allignment and a change from worn-out SSR's to 888's but I'm not so sure anymore. Assuming a more positive outlook I hope Croft does make it onto the 2010 calendar and the same goes for Donington, possibly with another trackday organiser.
Finally, has anyone heard from 65MAT lately?
Happy New Year.
Ian
Ian, I fully understand the cost of track days --- I believe there are some discounts to be had by booking a few at once --- I did Easytrack Oulton and Cadwell last year at a good discount, and I believe three can be bought for almost half the cost of the PCGB days ??
Croft ? Try Teeside -- small but quite fun []
Donnington, --- what will happen ?? How could such a great circuit get itself into such trouble ??
Anglesey ?
Cadwell --- OK
Oulton --- OK
??? [][]
We'll find a way ...
