Anyone know if there were any other 944 race/rally cars factory run maybe?

The owner of the green one posts as 'Duke' on the Rennlist forum.

I believe its called " Nile Green " and was a porsche colour..... Looks stunning!

Doesn't look like it to me, Wil's car is much darker. Could be the lighting, though. There are pics of Nile Green in the "colours" faq.

Off topic but how's your car now? Did you sort the drive shaft you snapped? :) Now thats power!

That green one does look very delicious. I am commonly a fan of green cars, and that's one of the prettiest pictures of one I have seen ...

No...not yet. Options are a good used one from the breakers that specialise in our cars or get one rebuilt ( using one I source from a breakers )...leaning very much towards a rebuilt one though for peace of mind.

Green 951 belongs to my friend Gustaf, who lives in Stockholm Sweden. Car's color is not original 944 one. It's newer Porsche color called Rainforest Green. And it is not a S2, it's 951.

This looks the same as my 2000 996 which is Rainforest Green mettalic colour code 2A1.
If the same lighting was on each car then it would be comparable in colour

Yes very nice indeed. Those Swedes seem to have a habit of building nice 944's...

Nothing at all - should I? *

(Has someone crudely blacked-out the lower panels on the front bottom of the front bumper? They look ... odd.)

Oli.

* - Is it an S2 which eats turbo's for breakfast and then spits out the intercoolers? If so, it's nothing special - they all do that! [:)]
