Don't go too cheap on the condensors - Dryer Is under the right hand cover by the Battery
Easy to replace but you need to use PAG oil on the seals

The drier on the 981 is definitely behind the wheel arch liner rear section, as per photo.
You have answered what was going to be my next question about the seals.
I assumed they should not be fitted dry and in most circumstances I would very lightly coat o-rings in silicone grease but assumed for the refrigerant system something else should be used.
So will have to purchase a can of the PAG oil.

Keith,

I note that you have mentioned getting parts from Euro Car Parts but you ought to take a look at CarParts4Less. The two sites look very similar and I think that the latter could be an ECP offshoot - generally they're cheaper too..!

Jeff,
Website is exactly the same, just different colours !!
ECP often have weekend sale codes to use which is what I used last Friday, price per condenser £77
Just checked CarParts4Less website, online price is cheaper than ECP before discount but discount is smaller, price per condenser £78.
I prefer with things like heat exchangers that could get damaged in transit to pick-up direct from ECP, of course they could still get damaged in transit to them.
I got 33% off at ECP over the weekend.
CarParts4Less are offering 17%.
The OE quality drier though is half the price at CarParts4Less compared to ECP before applying the discounts, £13 cheaper after discount.

Have looked at CarParts4Less website again and as its online only I expected their delivery costs to be "above average"
3-4 day delivery FREE
2 day delivery £2
next day £4
