Guys

I have now confirmed to Caroline what a weak willed easily influenced and completely insane individual I am. My beautiful C2S Cab is GONE replaced by a Gen 1.5 TURBO. Please convince me that I still have a little sanity left even if I cannot justify the mortgage I have had to take out.
Privileged or Insane ?

Roll on Normandy !!!!

Almost as beautiful in the photos as in the metal, Geoff![8D] For some reason, which I cannot fathom, I too seem to be implicated in this crazy purchase of yours. And, in the best and fastest colour too. I could trot out the usual "can't take it with you", "don't know what's around the corner" stuff but no, just enjoy - we are very privileged to be able to enjoy such fantastic cars. I can't wait for the Normandy trip too! Nobody here is going to think you insane...........[:D], although her ladyship, looking over my shoulder, thinks we're all barking! Edit - BTW, you need to change your signature!

Insane!! I mean fancy leaving the duster visable in the picture!! [;)] So now I know what you two have been up to lately....[:D] You'll be like twins :ROFLMAO: I'm going to have to create a new blummin spread sheet!!! By the way.. very well done Geoff and there's never a need to justify owning a Porsche Turbo, or any Porsche for that matter[:D] I look forward to seeing them all together, the SW looks like a Red car weekend the way its going.... garyw

[8D] beautiful. your definatly insane but, what the hell, life is too short to worry about what others think. Enjoy.

That factory aerokit is really growing on me. What is a Gen 1.5 Turbo though? A Gen 1 2009 car with updated PCM? Definitely a Gen 1 car given the pics

Absolutely stunning, love Guards red, had several in my time. Great to see the turbo in this livery. [:)]

Geoff, Red is the new white! [8|] Great cars just look soooooooo good in red - stripes? even better! :ROFLMAO: Congratulations! A magnificant motor. Looking forward to seeing it! Now get practising that left foot braking!! [&:] Regards, Clive

Hi Geoff, many congrats on the new car - having seen it 'in the flesh' it looks fantastic and I think the aerokit really shows the colour off well. Enjoy (and I'm sure you will!!) All the best, John

That's lovely, Guards red suits the 911 so well and the updated PCM really lifts the cabin....

Great photos of your car Geoff, and you will be leading the way with the aero spoiler that I think is a path many may wish to follow including myself. oh! ditch the yellow duster and get yourself some of the super soft Dodo juice microfibre cloths. Paul

Looks great, correct choice of colour Geoff, but I'm beginning to feel left out in the rush to turbo power.... Us poor normally aspirated boys and girls are going to be outnumbered in the SW.

Some of us are trying to preserve the status quo! [8D] Regards, Clive
