Offensive posts

I'm a bit late to this, but thanks for all the contacts pointing out the new poster who had some very pathetic, racist opinions that he chose to post here! [&o]

What a sad idiot, and sadly the internet is full of them. This poster wasn't a non-registered spammer, as has been suggested, but gave perfectly acceptable details like a valid email address, and passed the registration process without question.

All we can do is pick up on them as fast as possible, and to be fair this is the first case of it's type for years.

The "report" function seems to be bust, but again this forum is being replaced so it won't be fixed. It only sends a PM to a random moderator anyway, so might not get picked up for weeks. If you see a problem, please call one of the regulars and they will know who to contact. Failing that, an email to any of the @poscheclubgb.com addresses will cover us as dealing with the issue.

Apologies again, and thanks to you all for building a forum that's worth attacking as it's so popular! [&:]

I got all the post notifications but when I clicked they had all been prior deleted. Moderation clearly working. I doubt anyone here was impressed by their sad efforts :)

I have no idea what happened, I just thought that it meant someone had posted a link to a certain Northern garage that had produced another 944 spyder RS trouser snake abomination.

I always miss all the fun [:(]
Yeah, so do I.

And it wasn't me being offensive this time!

(Yes, McNulters did once have to delete one of my posts for being ... well, let's not go into details but I remain scarred for life by the incident! [X(])

Oli.

Some pretty stupid posts that were offensive and potentially hate crime.

There was hostility and prejudice towards race and ethnicity in the 3 posts.

It is now in the hands of the police and they will be determining whether there is a case to answer.

There is no place on this forum for people who judge on the basis of ethnicity or creed or colour.

We prefer to mock each other on the basis of poor taste ( spoilers wheels etc) , and the inability to fix things. That's the way we like it and that's the way we want it to stay.

We do however tolerate those poor deluded individuals who have a car with a hair drier attached. After all we all know that the S2 is the bast version. And although a Turbo may be quicker an S2 is definitely faster. [:D][:D]

I would agree that white turbos are faster... (sorry [;)] tongue in cheek and all that [;)] )

I did notice the other day that you no longer needed to be logged in to read posts in here, whereas you used to have to be... Do you think that is why someone found there way in a decided to take offense to something written in here?

I missed all the fun as usual (

I missed it as well, thankfully it was picked up fast though.

It was someone who'd registered properly though, hence us having a valid email address to pass on to the police!

No, Jon. It was fairly standard neo-Nazi twaddle of the kind that would have gone down well in 1930's Germany with its anti-Semitic content. I doubt anything written on here could have "prompted" that.

Me neither for once [8|]!

I was away for the weekend at my parents and happened to log on about 10 minutes after he posted so deleted it straight away before too many people saw it.

Simon must have been posting his comment just as I was deleting, because I never even saw his bad word [:-] First time I've ever double moderated with one delete [;)]
