I would agree that white turbos are faster... (sorry tongue in cheek and all that )
I' m very sorry to have to report this post, but black is fastest as we all know!
Why are the hair-dryer brigade to keen to stress that their cars are faster?
They might be faster , but are they quicker?

It's a well known fact that when people feel insecure or embarrassed about something they feel the need to "big it up" and constantly talk about it in order to make themselves feel better about it. This is what we are seeing from the hairdryer community. In order to justify their purchase of an inferior model they feel the need to bang on about being quicker than everybody else. You just have to go along with their little charade and sit back safe in the knowledge that they are all wrong. [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

Well I don't feel at all insecure about the fact that 924S's of any colour are faster than 2.5 944's of any colour.[:)]

Are you sure Colin? Not my experience, especially against MY82 and MY83 944s.

I'd love to have a really nice 82 in red with fuchs wheels and sport seats in black and whit pasha.
Oh 944 heaven [:D][:D][:D]

Always my understanding reflecting the lighter body, lower wind resistance& lower rolling resistance of the tyres

I've never driven a 924s , but I did have a 2lt 924 for 10 years and I always loved it's nimbleness.In contrast my S2 always feels much more planted than the 924 did.

Nonsense. It has been known since the 1980's that a red "i" adds 15mph and a red stripe another 10mph now let's take those facts to their logical conclusion... An entirely red car simply HAS to be faster than anything else.

I have owned:

1x Silberrose
1x Martime Blue
1x Slate Grey
3x Alpine White
3x Guards Red

I used to favour white, but I believe that red has proved to be the faster for me.)
