.......ok, I will start the thread about HAMILTON

Lewis is one hell of a driver and yes he is totally ignorant to any other drivers skills other then his own. He has however been groomed all of his life to be the best and if you are constantly told you are the best, one day you will believe it.

With regards to this years championship, both he or Massa could have tied it up months ago but for decisions and errors, but these guys are in their early 20's and I myself made plenty of driving mistakes when I was that age.

Lewis didn't just have his own families expectations on is shoulders but a whole nations and let be honest what a nation it is. Where one day you are king and the best of the best with no worries about anything, then the next you are the lowest of the low with no prospect of ever becoming anything more. Then suddenly you are a hero again because you win Celebrity Big Brother only to end up in a mental hospital because of your much publicied breakdown :(

Credit where credit is due, to all those hard working young men - a great season, a great end result for the sport, especially when you think of all the cost cutting they are about to do.

Love him or hate him he did a fine job and did a nation proud

For the moment anyway ??

And ffs man, stop saying that God is on your side.

Hamilton is God! Well, God like in my eyes. It is safe to say, that Richard Hammond has been relegated to position 2 in the Top 5 list!

...how much do you think I would get for God's autograph (written the year he won the world championship) ...??

Kevin,
Get it on eBay now. we can try out this snipe thing now that we have all of Charles' bank details from eBay. Iwouldn't expect too many bids from Barzil or Italy.

Roll on next year, no denying Hamiltons ability and I've no idea if it was Hamiltons or McLarens lack of bottle that made them go for such a conservative race strategy that nearly cost them the world championship. Hardly a convincing win.

Any people who cite Hamiltons richly deserved penalties should also look at the issues with and poor luck/judgment in the Ferrari camp.

I certainly don't think we have a new Schumi.

For the next few years I see a number of equally talented drivers, Lewis, Alonso, Kimi, Massa, Vettel and Kubica all equally capable of winning depending on equipment and luck. Lap for lap I'll still stand by my view that Kimi is the fastest.

As for next year, lets see who produces the best package for the new regs. At least with the return of more mechanical grip and less aero grip (producing much less dirty air) the new regs should allow some proper racing.

As I've said before, I don't get Hamiltons attitude and I cannot warm to him (a postion seemingly that the majority of the paddock concur with), but having followed F1 closely since the mid 70's I have to say I'm looking forward to a few good years close racing.

That means the FIA are bound to f it up.

Some similarities to Senna then ?

Totally agree about Kimi - but he only seems to perform when his inner voice tells him to - then he is unbeatable and the most exciting driver in the series.

In my own humble opinion (which is usually wrong) I still think Jenson Button has a lot to offer and with the right car could be a real contender. He seems to be more of a package then Lewis but just doesn't have the right decision maker in his corner.

Cheeky lol
