look forward to catching up with some R8 people as i've not made it to a "club night" yet and I parked with the 964 lot and got distracted by the shiny things on the porsche stand at ragley []

there were some lovely cars in the carpark; i managed to avoid embarassment by dragging a mate along and making him drive []

Nice to see some familiar faces and meet with the Leicester Porsche guys - seemed genuinely friendly.
Had to leave 5 mins before the draw but Patrick phoned me to say I won 1st prize!
Wonder what I can swap a Cayman for a day for????? Think they should let me have a GT3 for a week if they want me to trade up my Turbo?! Maybe they will let me have it around late April....4 days in Spa would be good!!![][][]

There was a cheeky white GT3 in the workshop, but I think that was having a new crank casing or something; I asked the parts guy whether it was RMS issues and I got the look []
Perhaps if thats out of action they can lend you the C-GT for the day?

Jason, congraulations on winning first prize. will we see a Cayman joining your fleet soon ? [:-] []
made the mistake of bringing my daughter along and she got bored and hungrey by 7pm i gave in to her moping and we left for a slap up meal/bucket from kentukey fried chicken [&:]
i didn't find the staff friendly at all. only one of them said hello and i have no idea who he was as he didn't introduce himself. the salesmen where all hidding in their office (they definetly were not working) ... Maybe we should have dressed up more for the occassion ? maybe jeans made us look to poor. ? [][][] oh well there loss not ours. with just a little effort by a GOOD salesman Larry could very easily have been tempted by a New Cayenne S or one of those special edition ones.
anyway on a brighter note the showroom is amazing and is nice to see a OPC with anough customer parking.
