Oulton Park RS Day 2006.....

Another for the Chinese, please! My brother has booked in his Caterham Superlight sprint/hillclimb car just to try to upset me[;)] I hope it doesn't rain on him[:D]

Saturday March 18th Fred -see you there!! No excuses this time.......

Hello Mel,

Have marked it on the calender.

I'll probably trundle down there even if no-one else is coming from R18.

Cheers,

I've been watching this with interest and was wondering whether you chaps would mind if I came along and watched from the sidelines?

I've recently sold my SC and am looking into finding a lhd 964RS to use as a second car and do a trackday or two - and to fill that big space in garage.

Would anyone be kind enough to show me around their car and let me know what I need to look out for on my hunt for a good RS?

Many thanks,
Rich Claridge

I am going to have a ride down, i only live about 30 mins away. I did not book it because it was too close to the RMA ring trip, that looks a bit pear shaped now so i will become a spectator for the day.

That is providing you 964 RS boys will let me come!!!

Cheers

Barry

Rich - you are very welcome to have a look at my car although I think you will be spoiled for choice and advice. Just watch out for someone telling you that RHD cars are better / worth more / rarer / easier to park etc.

See you there.

Looks like there will be a fair few spectators next week.....

There will be a group of us from R5 spectating.
I'm bringing a helmet just in case some one is kind enough to let me be a passenger......

Yoda - many thanks for the offer to show me your car. I imagine there will be a lot of people willing to do the same but it'll be good to know before I embark on a fairly long journey up t'north that at least someone will be willing to spend a little time with me. I will confirm for sure at the end of next week whether I'll be definately coming along.

Many thanks, Rich.

Mel,

where abouts is the Chinese for Friday night ?
How many do you have booked around your table ?
I'm staying in Middlewich
I do not know if I can make it in time yet.

But it's true. Honest. Believe me. There is clearly a conspiracy amongst LHD owners. I know you are all out to get me and I am not paranoid[;)] So, as per the title of the flim "Catch me if you can" (says the man on standard road tyres etc[:(])

Yoda, thanks again for the offer but it looks like I'm going to be in Ipswich that weekend. A bit too far away to just pop over to Oulton Park.

I'll look out for the next RS get-together as I'm looking to buy a 964rs as soon as the right one comes along.

Cheers,
Rich
