OULTON RS DAY REPORT

The quickest 964RS there on the day was the maritime RS driven by young Dan Gannon (it's his dad's car). He doesn't have an on board camera but you can see him in this pit wall video at 3' 10" behind Tim:

I casually observed him doing a 2' 04" lap (purely by accident as I wasn't timing him [;)] )

For your info Hacki, the 964 race cars (on slicks) in the club championship do sub 1' 51" laps in qualification.

That old red gt3 looked slow,we did not miss you mel.the beer and food was to good thursday,us girls burned out for friday eve.

Yes Tim that looked great ... very "together" !!

I seem to recall the Cayman R being around the same time as the Maritime 964RS (with similar power) --- Steve might have had a time for me --- I wasn't timing [;)]

Well worth watching, I really enjoyed that! How much slower would the 964 RS be on that track per lap driven the same way?

Thanks for posting and sharing,

Hacki
I had a Video Vbox in my 964RS for the 2012 RS Event which recorded a lap time of 2 minutes and 2 seconds - sorry the camera's not mounted in a better place. Both cars could be pushed around faster, especially the GT3RS, but it is only a track day after all [;)]
