Following on from previous years , Friday night after the PoT trackday there will be a dinner at the CHETWODE ARMS authorised by the Gruppenfuhrer and not restricted to 964RS or even 964 :ROFLMAO: pilots.

It should be a bit quieter this year as I understand Mr Howells is unable to attend [;)], and for those of you that have been before you can expect the usual standards of good food and good company. We will have a room to ourselves with drinks waiters/waitresses[:)].

More details to follow , meantime the landlady needs an idea of numbers so either PM me or reply to this thread to let me know if you are coming...

You got it -save me a waitress.......but you can keep the three legged dog....[:)]

Is it possible to have a waitress without attending the trackday (and the dinner)?

Put me down for two places please, and can i sit two places down from Hugh, as i haven't got over his distain for my replica from last year!
Christian...........

Hi Hacki , have done some checking on this for you . Fortunately the landlady is German ( Bavarian , which is close enough) and is used to the small foibles of her fellow countrymen . You don't have to attend the trackday , or the dinner , but you will need to present yourself at the Chetwode . If you can bring the inflatable Spitfire that would be useful .

Please let me know if you will need a separate private room.

Put me down for a place please John.

Never stayed overnight at Oulton, where's the best place to book?

Hi Rich , two places that you will find fellow-travellers at (!) are

Alvanley Arms ( advantage nearest to Oulton )

Happy Guest Lodge ( advantage nearest to Chetwode , AND Saz is staying there !)

I'm sure a man of your IT capability can google up the contact info / location , and usually the Alvanley gang commandeer a taxi , you CAN walk to the Chetwode from H G L .....ask Chris Whittle !!!

Booked the Happy Guest Lodge. Looks like its just over a mile from Chetwode so will borrow Chris's beer scooter to get back. Unless Saz leads us all astray again and we end up getting kicked out of a bar at sunrise. [:D]

I can vouch for both the Chetwode and the Happy Guests Lodge, just trying to work out how I can wangle to take down an exhibition at the NEC on the 6th, unravel all the arrangements made --- and be with you all on the 7th !!
