OULTON RS NIGHT 8 MAR 2013

ORIGINAL: ChrisW

The evening of the 7th I can't manage, but the evening of the 8th I probably can.

Paul, are you staying at the Happy Guests ?

I haven't booked it yet - but that's the plan. [:)]

Maybe Hacki & Chris W to be added ??[8|]

John, please send picture of waitress first. Separate room only necessary, if the waitress wants that. Inflatable Spitfire can be brought, of course.
No decision yet, if I can make a few days in England, I´ll show up. Would be nice to see the usual suspects again. Won´t bring the Cup car for sure, so no track day.

Was going to offer you an outing in Minty, but I'm not taking a hole saw to the car for anyone! Hope to see you there!

If I should offer to check the tyre pressure of your car, please refuse. I always get stuck with the spikey helmet in the tyre sidewall. A sad and expensive experience.

Oh god, please no.....[8D]

John, I believe I am there --- Paul has booked the Happy Guests and I'm not planning to stack it ...

But isn't Paul also ?

Cx.

Have booked the Oh so Happy Lodge as well, please can you reserve a place on the Friday night on Des's grande table please!

OK Guys , here is the plan. Gather at the Chetwode in time for a notional 730pm sitting , you can food order earlier if you wish, you can roll up later as well but may find restricted menu options. Most if not all of you have been before so will be familiar with the excellence of the food and the layout of the Inn.

We have a 2 course meal based on starter + main for £15 per head .

I will attempt to collect the money from you during the day and during the evening......see menu choices below , NB if you go off piste and have a pudding or turn up early and start ordering plates of garlic bread ( has happened in the past ! ) then you need to pay for that directly at the Chetwode.

STARTERS prawn cocktail OR duck pate & toast OR soup of the day ( will also be a vegetarian soup available)

MAINS fish & chips OR steak & ale pie OR 'steak on the hot rock' ( OR goats cheese tart for veggy option )
Potato / chips and vegetables included

There will be 4 tables set out for 5 diners each , plus an overspill table for 3 - that's then a full room.

I have 22 diners at the moment including Sean Edwards but not including Hacki.....

Mel , Hugh , Oliver , Martin , Saz , Christian & guest , Andy , Tim C , Tim B , John P , Adrian , Rich , Paul W , Chris W , Nick , Paul M , Des , Simon B , Sean , Steve B , me

Last but not least , you can either get your drinks direct from the cash bar , or order from the table , however the table's tab will not be individually broken down , but presented as a total , so each table will need to sort out who pays what....

You´re right, I will not be in Oulton in March. I hope to be back in England in September.
I wish you a great evening and great (and accident free) track time!
