Here's a link to the detailer who did mine, and the process on my car.Speak to Adam, he's happy to travel. The reason they don't pick the 'phone up is they're usually half way up an exhaust pipe or buried in an engine bay.

So this might lie outside the rules and regs of the forum....but I have dialled 4 detailers this morning to discuss GTechniq and would you believe that I have not had a single one pick up. I also range GTechniq direct who don't actually do any detailing, but only distribute product.
So....who is "Peter" and where - for an R21 club member - is the best place for me to go on this?
Thanks and apologies if not correct and proper forum etiquette.....

Hi Keenan
No apologises needed - all is within the rules. I hope you find a good detailer too!
Thanks Peter....and looks like he has used you as a case study on his website! Nice motor
Have a read of the detailingworld forum (If you can stand it! They make OCD seem very normal) for your answer to that one!ORIGINAL: Chris_in_the_UK

Peter is very helpful and works at GTechniq. He was when I was getting mine done anyway. He will give you any help you need not only on product selection BUT also will point you to a tried and reputable "certified" detailer in your area.
He can be contacted at 01923 264344 or mobile 07932 765 391.
Cheers,

Cheers,
So having gone round the traps, it is almost impossible to get hold of a G-Techniq person. I did find someone who said I should go with C-Quartz finest, as this helps reduce incidence of swirl marks. He would be happy to to G-Techniq....
They all seem to have their own opinions and favourites on what is good and what is not. At the end of the day, I guess it is the pride they place in their work, and if they are using a product they are comfortable with, that cannot be a bad thing....
Any comments or opinions, pros and cons on C-Quartz finest?
I keep forgetting to take a photo of the wheel rim wax I am using....will try tonight.

JP,
it is PoorBoys...comes in a 100 g pot, is bright pink, and smells like bubble gum. Bought it at the local car care shop.

Found someone for Gtechniq that will do C1 + EXO the body, C5 the wheels and G1 the glass for around £500, shouldnt take any more than 2 days unless paint is pretty bad. Hopefully all the codes are correct and make sense to some of you.

I always have had problems in getting glass really clean and have a wide range of potions, but (after washing the car and screen normally) have recently started to use a clay bar with water for lubrication to clean the windscreen. Just finish it off with a CLEAN micro fibre cloth and it removes the accumulated deposits and gives me a much cleaner windscreen.
