part-ex the RS for a 997GT3 RS

Matt, as I said you are not comparing apples with apples with the 64RS and any GT3 You have to approach the purchase as a completely new model of Porsche in the porsche range. Agree the GT3 feels heavier and bigger, but it wants to be driven with new limits.

I will say the ride is very comparable of my MK1 with a RS Carpet, firm, bump and a little twitchy .... dare I say harder than my current RS carpet, also with the single mass flywheel and RS clutch it's like home from home.

u r welcome to have a go in mine (silver/black '97 rs with ceramics and parr stage 1 setup) - it's a very impressive modern car and awesome on a fast circuit like Spa but and it's a big 'but' it's very different in character to a '64 rs. as i say, best have a go in one, and i'm in a good mood and reasonably local - kent/sussex/surrey borders.

[:)][:)] would be great - thank you - will defo take you up on it - much appreciated

btw - most jealous of your car list - how do you ever manage to decide which one to take out for a drive??
