Phil has new HD camera from US trip so between him and Josep we will have plenty of live coverage.
I would do a blog but not sure it is worth it without Des here! ;O)
Atmosphere is building we met for drinks tonight to discuss the Cup marketplace and the list of people trying to buy our cars.
This really is the event not to be missed. Where are you all?

Sure, see us at the 24Hr paddocks--do not know the numbers yet, but look for Olav's "McQueen Truck" in Gulf blue and orange for a pointer.
BTW, where are you all?
Have you seriously traded Spa for Abbeville (good for karting and not much else--maybe drifting)? [

I'll be over on friday, spectator only..... Look forward to meeting up with everyone!
Anyone up for giving a passenger ride? []
Yep, I'm afraid I've traded Spa for Abbeville. I think its going to be THE 964 RS event of this event if not longer! A trackday with only (to a close approximation) 964 RS / Cups on it. Thats got to be done!
Spa is fantastic and I've been there at least once every year for the past 5 years. Its full of memories, both wild highs and crazy lows. I've never driven Abbeville, so need to expereince that. Plus I've just starting planning the Spa Summer Classic for next year!

Hugh - lucky man.
I traded Spa for Abbeville and then my wife reminded me we had tickets to the Good Food Show at the NEC on the 17th :-( And of course I don't have an RS but let's not let that get in the way.
Enjoy Spa (still smiling from my visit there last year) and Abbeville the natural habitat for the RS

Hmmm... odd environment to celebrate the 964RS/Cup: Abbeville is a narrow 2nd and 3d gear track (no need for 4th and 5th), with tight corners.
Take a kart along [

Sounds fun, be good to practice the low speed corner stuff. Dont get me wrong Spa is great, but I'm looking forward to something new, plus the largest collection of RSs I've ever seen.
Plus I wont get buzzed on the Kemel by GT3s and other fast kettles.
I'm at Cadwell the week before so that should prepare me well!

Echo what h says......as for Abbeville , it sounds a wee bit like the Curborough trackday that Steve Brookes organises , so at least Ian964 and myself have had some useful second gear practice time....
but I'm already missing PCF days this morning . Have compensated by having a croissant and black coffee to recreate the Neil's B&B morning feel.....then realised I was the wrong side of the channel [

Will compensate with Belgian liquids later in the day , Hoegaarten or Leffe to recreate the apres-spa [

good luck guys !!!

9 Nationalities represented at PCF Fun days. Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Franch, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and one car from UK!
I am now famous as being the only PCGB member here driving.
Day 1 report. Had 30 mins in the morning before some numpty stuffed his new 997RS into the barrier which wrote it off and took 2.5 hours to repair the armco.
I met him later a friend of a friend. I think he was insured because he was not crying.
Driving standards in Race were excellent. No problems and got past one or two cars in the dry.
Afternoon sessions were reduced and the rain came on for final 40mins. This is where I got my own back!
I could pick off the 997 Cups no problem as they were all running slicks and my Cups were sticky as hell in the wet.
Alas as I had declared myself the fastest thing on track a Cup went straight into the barriers and the session finished 15 mins early.
I made up for him cutting short my glory with a few beers!
Best bit is I have it all on HD as Phil has bought a new toy which attaches to the roof of the car. Not sure how it coped with the rain mind.
Martin appeared with his notebook in search of new VIN nos. I pointed him towards the local buses. ;O)
