Hi mel, you are at the most second at prescott then[:D].

LOL!!! You must try harder! C u Fri nite?

Paul -I've read the 'regs', but dya know if can I park motorhome and trailer in field and drive across road to paddock in morning??? Or drop car in paddock Fri eve? Some local knowledge appreciated![;)]

i've had a lot of wine so this may not be accurate...............[:)]

Last time we parked the motorhomes (small tent in my case) in the lower paddock and drove the cars over to the holding area in the morning.

I will be there fri night, oh and third would be fine for me if you two dont mind![;)]

Fairly sure you can just park up with kamper, and drive across as normal.
Looking forward to it,hoping to change my springs for some soft ones, after i return from my last race of the season at spa next weekend.
Simon the red wine always makes things clearer and of course calmer for those quick times

Thanx 4 feedback chasps!!

Thanks mate, good to see you there too...took me back to the old days a bit :}

Was a bit tricky in the end, having been given a right seeeing to by the clerk of the course I was a bit fired up when I made the last run. Looking back I deserved it though, think the old nerves jangled a bit after that and made a bit too much wheeelspin out of Pardon....beaten by 0.07 from what could have been first overalll win at Prescott....on my 51st Birthday!.....eeek,.......great day though:}.......do you know if anyone got any decent video clips?

Mel....get some decent tyres mate, you are very quick now, cant be helping on those old boots though. As for Paul and Peter Turnbull...big wide cars driven very quick on a dodgy, narrow, slippy hill....impressive.

Cheers
Simon
PS Colin is very interested in next season.............

Simon we both know Colin is to old and slow now!!![:D]
If i play next season ,it will be on new rubber with my new top secret weapon.
Its difficult to get a car to perform on the hill and track, the softer springs helped big time, but its a pain to swop in between races and hills etc It also needs the camber coming off,i was running 3.5 at prescot on the rear, lots of grip and then nothing! Great fun though and a very challenging few seconds.
Its interesting how all the classes have got quicker.

I've just received these from Mike Rees (not sure why they came to me [&:]) but thought I would post them up for your delight [:)]

As I said before Chris, you walk it!! Just do it.................[&:]

Scrumptious Steve.

Melv, you know I want to ....

The only nag in the back of my mind is that I've still got 24 days of holiday left to take this year, jeez it's been busy !

You dont have to do a whole season Chris, I'm probably going to sign up and do a couple of events for fun and the social aspect. Would be good to pick a date from the calendar next year and get a high RS presence.

So why don't we do that ?

The most exciting things I have ever done, have all required a leap of faith ...

looks like mel is getting out of the cup and into the quicker Lincoln Limo!
Some good photos, what a display of different porches, and not a hint of zymol on any of them .
Although i did catch simon polishing his to make it faster.

They came from Martin Broadribb (who I don't know) who sent them to Mike Rees who forwarded them to me (by mistake I think). But since I knew of this thread, I thought you would all appreciate them. I think they give a nice flavour of what the day was like [:)]
