PCM not working

Difficult to know how they made such a basic error.  The terminals would have been nearer the front/rear of the compartment, and I'm surprised the cables reached.  Obviously they did, but you would have thought that anyone with half a brain would have felt something was wrong.  I'm also surprised it didn't knacker the alternator.  Must have got very, very lucky.

Yup, nice to have some luck now and then. maybe it just touch for a brief moment? Anyway, all sorted now.
 
I got it wrong - yes the terminals are nearer the back. My comment still applies though - it must have felt wrong when they did it.

Just fitted a new Battery myself. Would have took about 10 mins but the hole in the tray that holds the battery had no bolt thread for the clamp as the new battery is slightly longer then the original although there is threads for smaller batteries. Very strange !!
 
Well, maybe the manual is wrong, not me!
