Peak District Drive and Lunch

Yes Michael your car is noisy, probably more so with Liss at the wheel[;)]

Massive thanks to Chris and Delia for organising today. It was a brilliant day out. The roads and views were stunning. Good choice for lunch too!

So who's up for an R7 cycle ride over Snake Pass!

Echo thanks to Chris & Delia. Great run out. Really enjoyed today. As for the cycle ride Mark, would that be Motorcycle!

Yes, a big thank you to Chris & Delia for organising today's run out. Great routes with some spectacular scenery, even when passed at great speed (but never over the limit, honest officer [;)] ) by my chauffeur for part of the day, Mr Chappell [sm=kiss.gif]

The Oil Can Café is a good find and was a really interesting place to stop for lunch (note to self - pop back some time to buy a dress and pre-order tea and scones in advance of next year's visit!). The pub was excellent too, good food, really well presented. And to top it off, an impromptu convoy on the M1 with Geoff and Julia and Mark. All in all, 10 out of 10.

Here's a link to our pics, sorry, quite a few of M666, it's not often I get to see it from someone else's perspective.

Yes many thanks to C & D for organising the run. Really enjoyed the day with everything being just about perfect. Pity about swiping the front number plate holder off with the electric gate when I got home! Just searching eBay as I speak!

Chris and Michael

Thanks Chris & Delia, yet another well organised day out. Don't suppose the massive fire at Attercliffe in Sheffield was part of the scenic tour was it? incredible black smoke, first saw it just after leaving Hope.

Once again, many thanks.

Geoff & Julia

Echo the congrats to Chris & Delia for yesterday's run out and sunday lunch. Can't imagine the work that went into organising the route and stops. Good venue for lunch, good company and new faces too. Oops, not to mention dedicated parking!
Thanks to both of you.

Paul & Jane.

Chris, electric gate indeed - pretentious or what??

Sorry Paul- forgot to mention the electric garage door !!! I am in the trade though so they're just minor things for us[:D] one day I'll sell this old 996 and get myself something nice instead!

Echo thanks to Chris and Delia for organising the trip including the weather, couldn't have been better for open air motoring.
Lovely scenery and route and good company to boot.
