Several years ago I used to show in concours but I'm not sure it's something I would enjoy anymore.
TBH I usually end up selling them when complete and move on to another project.
Probably throw a sheet over this and relax !

Absolutely superb attention to detail and a total credit to you, but will it ever get driven ? i love a clean car and detailed underside but i still use and enjoy mine for classic meets in the depth of winter.
My pal does this with his huge Escort collection every car is close to 100 point Concourse winning everything but they are a total pain in the arse for him having to trailer them everywhere.

Thanks for your kind comments, the car will get a run out ......if it ever gets finished.
It was concoursing RS Escorts that finished me off showing cars.

Who's Albert Walsh ?
For those of you sticking with this, a few new pics added to Flickr, I cannot figure out how to copy them direct to the board.
I've started refitting some of the interior, rear seat and belts are in, hatch area is carpeted.
New fuel regulator and damper fitted , injectors going away to be tested and rebuilt shortly.
AFM and airbox refitted
Radiator ordered from the US, no standard rads to be had anywhere in the UK that I could find.
Rear calipers have gone off to Bigg Red for rebuild and power rack has gone to be rebuilt.
New rear bumper moulding purchased, do you just bend this into place carefully ? I expected it to be shaped ?
Rear anti roll bar fitted today
I'll let the photos tell the rest.
All the best, Paul

Bolt up the centre studs first so the ends stick out straight, then carefully bend the ends round and bolt them up.
