Im going to be rude and ask what did it sell for paul?

Mike, I also need to find out, hopefully SteveK can help as he appears to have a good relationship with ThomasS....
I would expect €125k, as it does appear to be an exceptional example, despite being "a touch too common" [;)]
Yes I know how much it sold for however, Tom wishes the price not to be disclosed due to client confidentiality, lets just say
you wont believe it !! just flew in this morning from Zuffenhausen Stuttgart after a visit to the Porsche museum, very interesting
tour though no 964 or 993 rs models on display, have plenty of photo's if anybody wants me to post them.

Just seen this, a bit leggy. Anyone know the car?

http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/2661791.htm

They do realise they are in Essex and not Essen???

I never quite understood that place, I am sure they sell some cars, but it appears more of a museum than a car dealership?

Steve, it would be good to see your photos, I'm intrigued as to what Porsche think is worth displaying if they omit the sublime 993RS from their line up.......Did you ask for a partial refund as you left? [:D]

I am told the factory do not own a 993RS, they do have a Rubystone 964RS though. They only display around 20% of what they have at any given time apparantly.

Johny, sometimes my posts do tend to have a hint of irony or even sarcasm about them...nice car by the way...have known of that one for years over last few owners!

Thanks Paul. I'll be on the alert for the odd ironic comment in future!

80k miles in almost 16 years ? Just nicely used [;)]

This means you also can enjoy a few thousand miles a year without having to worry about it !!

So long as looked after, it should be as good as new [:)]

Maybe they are leaving a space for the Development Car [:D]

Chris, I had exactly the same thought.........Have you considered donating it, for the good of the cause? [:D]

Agreed Paul, Chris's development 993 rs should be donated to the Zuffenhausen museum, then Chris can pay to see it again [:D]

cannot wait to pick my RED 993 RS ex Mr Howells car up from SCOM..... john really has gone to town on this car for me...very happy.... will turn out to be a little gem....

cannot blooming wait to get back in a AIR-COOLED 911 ...more so with it been a RS

Welcome back to the air cooled club Keith, not the power of the 993 GT2 but it will put a smile on yer face [:D]

Paul,

I did ping a mail to Tony Hatter but no reply.

Steve, I'm guessing they would "loan" me a permanent "Wagen"pass [:D]

As for donating, I think the term "loan" might be firer for all [:D]
