Actually I ordered the original sticker but felt not brave enough to waste it on my poor S2,
I find myself strangely drawn to a CS sticker - so what would one have to thow out of the car to make it half way to a legitamate claim?
Based on the 968 I'm assuming back seats would have to go, carpet and sound deadening swapped for gossama lightweight carpet, rear wipe out, air/con out, lecky windys out, sun roof out, seats swap for GRP backed jobbies. Methinks perhaps can't be done. Maybe I'll make do with a Turbo sticker instead. [8|]
Would both stickers be too much?
With any other car you would have to say yes, but the Turbot is such a monster bottom kicker that you might get away with it.
I have concerns that it does demonstrate a big step towards Max Powerville and could end up accompanied by neon lights under the car.
On the plus side, the paintwork on mine is now far from concourse and any stickers applied would take your eye off what ever is underneath. Still not convinced that it is all too Max Power though.

The only thing I'm "sure" of about "factory 944 CS" is that they have M030, as M637 (equipment including turbo Cup/924 small manual mirrors and this sticker) could be ordered only in addition to M030. Also only 16V 944s (944 S or 944 S2) were concerned by this equipment.
M637 appeared with the launch of the 928 CS (model year 88 and 89), which I believe was the first Porsche along with the 3.2 Carrera Club Sport to carry this equipment code.
Don't quote me on all this though, as I can't remember which readings brought me to this rather dodgy conclusion. [8D]
Anyway I have no idea at all how many 944s were ordered with this equipment.
For the "CS Club Sport" sticker, you can order one from your local OPC, either in silver or black. It has a code number in the PET (whereas the similar-looking "CS Club Sport" sticker that also appeared on the fender of some 968 CS does not appear in PET - it's a bit shorter in length than the 944's - but that's another clueless story I'm scraping my head with).
It cost me £100, hence the reason I prefer to keep it boxed in case I want my car resprayed one of these days.
It's actually Krystal silver metiallic, supposedly a rare colour in itstelf, only for 1990 cars so I've heard.
