Can't say I have heard a hippo in labour, but I get the picture [:D]

I found myself listening to Beethovvens Piano Sonata No 3 this morning on my ipod while doing the garden, it is beatiful ( not the garden, the Beethoven piece [:)] )

Well neither have I but how I imagine it would sound!
Love Beethoven - have all 32 piano sonatas in a set - and the sheet music too! Now with a bit more practise........[:)]

I would never have listened to Beethoven up till I started learning to play the piano myself, but I just love listening to him now.

There is someone else out there, a pianist called "reasoner" who is excellent also. Just someone that makes up his own stuff as he goes along. Link ~ http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/160907

Just now I am learning a Schubert piece, called Marche Militaire, it is a nice piece, quite lively. Last weeks piece was Mozarts "The magic Flute" I have done some Bach also. From looking at my music books, I have not done any Chopin yet, I must look him up [:)]

Scott that is beautiful yes, but far too advanced for me. If it took you a while to get it right, can you imagine, I will be sitting here in years to come still trying to master it. Scott I would absolutely love to hear you play one day .. .. .. ..

Alan I have not clicked on your link yet, will do so after Scotts one finishes [;)]

Well Alan, what can I say, she was absolutely amazing, I was transfixed watching her, what a talent [:)]

Isn't she just. If you haven't heard Beethoven piano sonata No 23 (Appassionata) it's worth a listen![:)] Loads on You Tube.

Hey Alan thanks for that link, absolutely fantastic!! What a claim to fame too [;)]

I have had a bit of an emotional hour listening to all this, genuine tears in my eyes [:)]

Good music moves me to tears, I have a friend Al Moore who plays the piano and whenever he does, I need my hankies, he is absolutely amazing.

Clair de lune ........................ I always feel like I'm on a roller coaster of emotions when I listen to that piece of music.

Jane, I'll make you a copy of Andras Schiff playing Bach's Goldberg Variations.
I think you'll like that.

I would love to play the piano, but I'd also love to play the cello (don't think I'm tall enough, unless they do midi versions)!!!. I'm a fan of YoYo Ma, if anyone has heard of him??

Kx
