Placing order this week

I decided to go for the coupe as its my first 911, and I wanted to experience from what my point of view the 911 in its purist form (Driving and looks).

The car will be registered on 1st March and I am only planning to keep the car for 6 months, so may decide on a cab then.

What do people think about red seat belts, will it affect the resale value?

Thanks

If you are planning to only keep it for 6m, I would have a chat with the OPC and try and agree and agreed trade in price against a new cab in 6m and chat over spec with them. Surely the effect on trade in of red belts is going to be neither here nor there compared with the big hit you will take anyway?

Alternatively, take a big bag of £20 notes and set fire to it - you'll get a similar effect................

Last car I had with Red Seat Belts was a MG Metro Turbo - ahh the memories come flooding back!

Well I definitely wouldn't buy a car with red seat belts. If I'm in a small minority then it will not affect the resale value.

Many people have given different views about the specification resale value and if you really are intending to keep for 6 months some of those views should be heeded. Better still, discuss spec with the OPC and agree a trade in value as has been suggested.
