Playing music from iPhone

Think a lot of people have miss understood! The 997.1 does not have a USB socket therefore nowhere to plug into?

there is a device called mobi bridge that connects into the fibre optic network that interlinks the audio PCM SYSTEM IN THE 997.1.
so There are only a few options that get you round this problem,

1. Mobi bridge or Denison system
2. Replace head unit with something like the Kenwood that comes with Apple car play
3. A radio frequency converter that re-broadcasts what’s plugged into it allowing you conventional radio to receive it.

this problem and original question has nothing whatsoever to do with DRM.

hope this helps.

I got this as well, works perfecly, I put it in place of the phone module under the drivers seat. Could also have put it in the frunk instead of the CD changer. Note, if you put this in you will have to lose/unplug the cd changer (it basically replaces it). There are some huge forum posts on how to install on various forums, or any auto audio place could do it pretty easily

I have a 996 and my neighbour has a 997.1. We would both agree that dumping PCM (stick it in a box in your garage in case the next buyer wants it, though why they would is beyond me) and just putting in a double din CarPlay system is the way to go.

Hello. I have long dreamed of buying an iPhone. Now I have it, but then a lot of problems appeared. It turns out that the iPhone does not work like an android, to listen to music in the car from the phone you need to Find Necessary Hi-Tech Product Easy on the Internet. Guys, what can you advise to buy here on 4Prototypes so that I can connect the phone to the player in my car? Thank you all in advance.
