Poor running

Out of interest, this solution has held. Car behaving normally, been for a few drives and done a track day, all faultless. The filter change is cheap and worthwhile.

I suspect the real problem is bio-ethanol in fuels and the sludging effect that can result if the car stands for too long. The answer is to keep using the car but can the tank be easily emptied over winter and are some fuels (BP Ultimate?) not affected?

Hi Ian

leaving your car with the tank full to the brim is supposed to be the best way of countering problems with fuel when storing over winter

The solution mentioned above still works, been out a few times lately and all back to normal.

Talat, I wondered if you've managed to resolve your issues? Hope so.

Sorry Ian, only just seen this. Yes, my issue has been resolved pretty much. My Indy just fiddled around with the mixture and it performed faultlessly at Oulton a few weeks back. I suspect it was related to the new exhaust that I had fitted.
