Porkers in the Trough II

Thank you to all at R18 for making us welcome. What an enjoyable day we had.

For those of you who heard the story of a Land Rover towing a Porker out well that was us. We just pulled two wheels onto the grass and stopped to let a white van past. Unfortunately the verge was very soft and wet and the back wheel just sank and stuck. Fortunately the Land Rover arrived within seconds who kindly affixed a tow rope to the towing eye and pulled us free. Many thanks to whoever he was.

Once again thanks for a great day.

Never mind young Jamie, he gets enough publicity as it is.

Leather AND rubber for David don't forget. I also liked "Where Lancashire leads, the rest of the UK follows..."

Reminds me of League of Gentlemen/Psychoville just a bit too much []

I mean, some at club HQ have dared to suggest in the past that our region has broken rules and needed disciplining, that somehow, we did things "differently" oop North. But we say bollocks to that, dress up as pigs and go on the telly! Superb.

Oh-oh, LancashireOne have only gone and posted their movie on Pistonheads. With David. And Judy. And pig ears.

Good luck chaps!

so true rob, and 'duelling banjo's' keeps playing in my head, over and over and over....[;)]

And to think, we were worried about the locals from East Lancs giving each other "high sixes"...

Meet my sister and my wife - but there's only one person there? - yup...

It was in the Porsche section, how brave was that? Was up at lunchtime but doesn't seem to be there now. May have contravened advertising rules? That there David is a lucky man!

I've added a link to our photos. Most of them our of us/our car, but there are some good ones of the cars parked at the castle and from the top of the castle.

Hope this works ok

Peter, what can I say, we were worried but luckily those worries proved to be completely unfounded [;)]

Just got back from a sunny Lancashire, and would like to add our thanks to Mac and Sue for a great time. We had to leave early to see my brother in laws jazz band perform, but the route was great - even tho we had the same problems as some with the mileages! Hope you raised lots of money too!
