I tried really hard to buy a Boxster from OPC in Chiswick, but they couldn't be bothered to return my phone calls or take me seriously. I eventually spoke to a salesman in person, and he advised me that climate control and metallic was standard on the 2.7, and when I worked out that they weren't my finances were all out and I never went there again. I may pop in if I'm passing to view the trinkets in the showroom, but I will NEVER give them any of my hard earned.

I eventually bought my 2.7 from OPC Colchester in 2001, and can not recommend them highly enough. They gave me an extended test drive, always have time for a coffee and a chat and their service dept is excellent too. They have even taken me out for a blast in a 360 Modena (didn't get to drive it sadly) as they are a Ferrari franchise as well.

I had a recent experience with a service at OPC Bow (East London) and while not from the Chiswick school of taking the mick, were far from satisfactory.

Anyway, my car went in today to adjust the oil level and check for any leaks. Chiswick OPC also drained and refilled the coolant as I had to top it up with plain water a couple of days ago. They collected my car and delivered it back at the end of the day. All in all, an unfortunate incident but I guess things like this have to happen to someone.

I'm just glad i've got my car back! Driving it in a spirited manner this evening has given me a wiiiiiiiiiiiide grin []

Glad you got it back - & relieved its not just me that has the joy of difficult OPC visits (usual minor problems but the best one so far was the big Boxster shaped dent they put in the passenger door....)

Sadly I've moved on to an independant for the latest service & the experience is looking pretty positive so far.
