He is welcome to sit in with me. I enjoyed an hour's drive in a newish supercharged Elise recently on some of my favourite roads and it was quite easy to drive very fast, I'm with Des - an Elise should be quick around Cadwell. See you there. Ian (red 964RS)
Did Des say that too??[&:]ORIGINAL: ian harvey I'm with Des
Sorry Mel, he probably thought it! See you tomorrow Ian
Ditto yes on passenger rides, but I have only been to Cadwell once before I'll be in the 993RS -- 50Kg's more lardy than the 964Cup and around 250KG's more than an Elise ?? It was fantastic, --- I snatched a few pics whilst waiting for an instructor which I'll post after Tea !! Had a lot of fun giving Melv a run for his money with the 993RS, --- was gutted that he had a set of moribund Corsas fitted [][]
Ian with grinning passenger
Look how big the 997GT3 MkII is by comparison to the 964RS ...[]
Great day, only 33 cars, no incidents at all despite people on this forum saying it was dangerous. (The only issue was a poor marshall who fell down a rabit hole and broke his leg!). Suited the 64RS well, you missed a treat and I doubt we'll be back soon due to poor numbers. Nice to see Melv putting the effort in to venture north, I think he enjoyed it. Ian
Actually, that's not strictly true.........there were TWO red flags....one when a marshall fell down a rabbit hole and broke his leg (honest!!) .....and one when the ambulance had to go onto the track to recover him....he was called Alice, BTW.....[&:] But well behaved chasps!!![]
