Yes its a rare factory model option.
The 966 looks similar in every way to a 996 but has the added attraction of extra wide door handles, a huge steering wheel and a gearknob that a Gorilla could comfortably hold.
It was available in the model year 2000 and was factory designated Porsche 966 FFM.
The FFM stands for Fettes Fingriges Modell.
This translates as - Fat Fingered Model.
It was not a success outside of Lanarkshire , with only one recorded model optioned as such.
