Porsche on tv/films

ORIGINAL: wblackw9

A yellow 911 in the arni film commando. I remember when the car crashes on its side, arnie pushes it back onto its wheels and all the side is wrecked, funny thing is when he drove off in it the side was mint again!!!

Thats' the trouble with 911's......they are so unpredictable [:D]

Great film with Steve McQueen and some Porsches in it - now what was it called? [:D]

I was watching Death Wish V last night (slow evening in my house) made in 1993.
Smashing Porsche 928 in gun metal grey.
The guy was one of the bad guys obsessed with security so he had a fortified house and big car.
Bronson got him though with a bomb in a football.
Weird though, he parked the car in front of the house and then went inside and later came out and got blown up but the car was gone.
Kev.

There was a 928 in the Tom Cruise film 'Risky Business' with Rebecca DeMornay.

Watched this last night, coincidentally. There is also a 944 in this movie, at least a glimpse. After Tom Cruise has dropped his dad's 928S into Lake Michigan we see him at the Porsche dealer to collect the repaired car. When the service guy comes out and asks "Who's the U-Boat Commander?" there is a 944 in the background. What was amazing to me is that this dealer repaired a fully submereged 928 in only two days and had it looking like new.....

In Only fools and horses, the one where del falls through the bar. Called Yuppy Love, there is a nice 944 Red in the shot when Dell drops Rodney at the adult Education Centre... It looks just like mine. It was filmed in '89 i think

Did anyone else see the white Lux on tonights BBC news clip of the great storms from 1987. It was driving up a coastal clifftop road with the white cliffs in the background. Looked the spitting image of Peter Empsons but I couldn't quite make out the Reg no (I even managed to save it on my recorder but the plate is just a bit too fuzzy [8|] )

My wife thought I was particularly sad cos of that one. Spotted it as the roof came into view and had to rewind just to prove I was right.... come to think of it I do feel just a bit sad.
