Porsche Spotting

Passed this car on the M6 just past Gretna heading South past Carlisle. Tried to give the driver a thumbs up but he wasn't looking, or was maybe ignoring the madman in a VW Golf [8D]

Holy thread resurrection! A lovely red lux approached from the rear and I let him coast by this evening near Glasgow Airport as I was en route to a bowls match. A gent wearing shades exchanged waves with me, are you on here?

Not seen another 944 in the flesh up here for years. Can we pin this thread?

Red Y plate (83) standard 924, 2 litre I think, passed me in Paisley (Barshaw Park) on Friday night. Not seen one of them for a very long time!

Well, I saw the same 924, at the same time tonight, at the same junction, so waved. Got a wave back and he slowed down, turned out to be an ex-football pro who I used to manage. Bought the car as he liked and remembered mine!

Spotted a smart looking 944 in the latest retropower uncut vid hiding in the corner of 'the Den' - their new building for servicing etc.
around 30 mins in

A football pro driving a 924? Was he the typical Scottish goalkeeper :).

Nah, ex-pro now, striker, played for Blackpool, scored a screamer at Wembley when Blackpool won the play offs to get up to the Championship about 10 years ago. He was never the best at looking after his cash!

Yesterday late morning, saw a red 924/944 heading west on A30 near Honiton. We had just left Exmouth heading home after a week in Devon. Looked very nice, alas I was in my wifes car.

Pete

Nice white 944 today going through Dunmow high street. Think it is the same one that was behind me when I was in the air-cooled a week ago. If it is someone one here, there are three others of us in Dunmow and we are meeting up, come join in!

A dark grey or black 944 drove past my house in Toddington Beds this morning...anyone from here?
More than a coincidence? I'd physically immobilise your turbo if I was you Pete. I'm still a bit paranoid about car theft, after being followed loads of times in my fast Ford days.
