POTM

I liked that pub too - in the summer it would be a gorgeous location.

I quite like the idea of a different pub every month at a different location around the Region, a sort of roving get-together. Could give some people who don't like to drive their cars too far a chance to get out and about when its near them [:D]

As for next months venue, I don't have a clue, my brain is still befuzzled from seeing Brians purple RUF [8D]

Hi Guys, Dave - my name is Ian and as you can see, I've joined the forum!!! Mike, what were the garages that you recommended to look at?

Buy the way, in response to the question about where to go, there are many pubs that are quite good around the area. I also have a copy of the good pub guide which my wife Rachel and i use on a regular basis with the Dax! If you're interested I can have a look and make some suggestions.

Hi Guys, Dave - my name is Ian and as you can see, I've joined the forum!!!

Ian,

Thanks for the name prompt - I'm terrible with names although I'll remember a car at first sight, it'll take a few meetings before I get a name into my head. Hope to see you around more - particularly during the better weather next year.

I assume you were talking to Mike about potential sources of Porsche cars. What model(s) were you looking for. I think I remember Mike saying you were looking for a 996 (I guess your handle is a good clue!!) but there's a pretty big range of models that covers. There's lots of help here on the forum though and the model specific registers are an ideal place to start asking questions.

Best regards

Dave
