It's trickier job than it looks and I had to have several trial runs before I was satisfied. In the end, I thought I'd made a reasonable fist of it, but it's very difficult keeping dirt and fibres out of the work. You really do need a sterile location to be successful.
Good luck trying to source Expel, I had no luck at all obtaining their high end films, but I had a friend in the business and was able to purchase a similar product - it's surprisingly expensive BTW!

ive actually put xpel track tape over xpel PPF for some heavy track sessions and realised that all the flat surfaces on a porsche actually have subtle curves - it was a bit of A mess but did the job for a few days
temperature is also key it can’t be worked and stretched if too cold
