Prescott - October 4th - PCGB Speed Championship

Tickets (£15 each or £20/pair) and car passes for this event are now available from me. Those of you who have expressed an interest here should have already received details but there is still space available, so please email me by clicking on my username if you would like to join us.

As usual there will be a chance to take part in a lunchtime cavalcade (at reasonable speed if you are behind something fast, less so if you are following a steam car!), but this is always subject to weather conditions and to how the event is running, although I think that Nick managed three ascents last year! Details of this will be included with your tickets.

...and one more request for two tickets if that is possible. I live in Bath so I am just about in the Gloucestershire region

David, you are probably in the R16 catchment area as we certainly have other attenders from Bath, but all are welcome while space is still available. I'll be in touch.

Martin - apologies but I am going to have to bail out of this I'm afraid, a work issue has resulted in me working alternate weekends, unfortunately the weekend of the 4th is one of them. Sorry.

We still have a few parking spaces left, so if you would like to purchase tickets and join us do get in touch ASAP by emailing me from my profile.

Could I also ask those of you who have enquired about attending but not confirmed to advise me of your intentions.

Just to put us in the mood, here is a picture from the 2013 event.

Martin

Could I have a pass please, one car and two people, I am off to Spa at the crack of dawn tomorrow, but hopefully will be able to get internet access.

Cheers Carl

Hi Martin
Is it possible to have a car pass please . I'm a BOC member so I don't need entrance tickets.
Regards
Rob Croxford

All of our space is now taken, but don't let this put you off if you make the late decision to attend. You can still buy a ticket on the day and use the general parking.

Hi Martin,

I'll aim to be there on Saturday but I've left it too late to park with you now so will park on the hill weather permitting. I'll come and say hello.

Rich

Rich,

Sorry for belated reply - been unavailable for the last few days. Will be good to see you.

M

Martin - thanks for organising Prescott parking again - shame about the wet morning but weather improved massively after lunch! Overall a good day.

Once again thanks Martin (and to your partner) for organising the Prescott event (also thanks to Nigel)
Standing in the rain waiting for us to turn up and then making sure we were all able to park was really appreciated and the sign of true club members [:)]

An excellent breakfast - a visit to the Bugatti museum - the American car/bike displays - chatting to the sprint championship drivers - looking at their cars - watching them slip and slide on a damp track in the morning and competing in the afternoon was brilliant!

Thanks Stefan and Nick and a big 'thank you' to everyone who came along today, especially those who travelled not inconsiderable distances. After continuous rain from 6am to Noon the clouds broke to reveal warm October sunshine and as well as a great variety of Porsche models -from the 1970s to three days old- we witnessed some excellent action on the hill and many entertaining sights elsewhere.
