ProMAX Motorsport Open Day 30th Jan

but I do know that one of our number will be spending many thousands on go faster goodies

Oh good. I love to see someone elses credit card go into melt down for a change.[:D]

You will be greatly missed Tony. I'm not aware of any members of the Wolf Pack still at large in the Atlantic, so torpedos shouldn't be too much of an issue. [:(]

Thanks, Ill try and bring back a picture of a penguin. I am working in chessington on Monday so might drop by the Ace for a bit. Have a good time at Promax if there are any bargains to be had let me know ;)

They are constructed from a very rare and special blend of resin and natural fibres - a true work of art.

Sorry about this guys but tomorrows bad weather is all my fault.

I had to wash the car. I wasn't going to, but I was checking fluids and stuff and happened to leave Beaky unattended for about five minutes. On my return I heared a bang as Cat1 tried to shut Cat2 under the bonnet. This wouldn't have been so bad except they had both carefully paddled in muddy puddles prior to getting onto the car. The muddy paw prints were that well defined I recon they must have walked from the puddle to the car on the tips of their claws so as not to let any mud go before getting on the car. []

Still, as I've got the furthest to travel, the rest of you can put up with it.

Having been up at 7:15 this morning cleaning the car (in the dark pretty much) so it could be viewed I don't doubt that our Cat2 with be lying on the roof getting it covered in ginger hairs as soon as he's realised. As well as the annoyance that they have to be vacuumed to get them off it's also way scary when he walks off down the back window... one slip and out will come the claws, straight throught it... It hasn't happened yet but now the car is promised to someone else this could be the week.

Don't wash it. Just Photoshop it clean, or restore from a clean backup [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

I think it must have been the most 944's I've seen in one place that wasn't a National gathering.

A stonking time - thank you Andrew & David for your hospitality. I like David's idea of doing it again in the summer though. Could we use the haulage yard opposite do you think?

Great company, and a great convoy there. We had a more select gathering coming back on the A1 with Peter, Paul & Beaky and, perhaps, it was little more subdued. [;)]

sorry i didn't wait around to meet the convoy. but we had arrived at 10.15 and eaten all the bacon butties we could...yumm!!! and were getting very cold. would be great to do it again in the summer with a BBQ
was nice seeing your covoy going the other way [8D][8D]

I just recognised it was you when we finished flashing and waving [:D], the S2 looked very shiney. We would have been about 15 mins earlier if we hadn't hung around at Leicester Forest East waiting for one of our number.

Thanks very much to Andrew and David, Jane and Erika for their hospitality and warming BBQ. If repeat business is anything like the Open Day then you should have much success. I'm really looking forward to seeing that turbocharged 3 litre engine finished, installed in Davids race car and circulating with the other Porsche Open cars.

I left my S2 there for some work and had a brilliant drive home in the 924S courtesy car. I was very impressed (and it hasn't even been ProMaxed yet [:D] )

.....now I must put pen to paper and write something for Porsche Post

And very nice they are too - it's so much easier than having to take your own camera when Rick is there........but then why have I just bought myself another camera?

Good pics Rick. Looks like a great day. Do it again in the summer and i will definatly be down, i might even buy something too.

Rick two things, take all those stickers off the car they are on the chav side of chav. And you need to give me your wheels, they just dont suit your car, but they might suit mine. I will take the chance of trying them [:D]

Nearly forgot I promised a picture ;)
