Proposed Duxford get together

If this is still on the cards I'd like to bring another Cayman (GTS) I'll keep an eye on this post for confirmed dates.

For anyone who didn't see the Mailchimp and of course anyone who has just recently joined the club and register, the date is set for 8th June which is a Thursday and I intend to be arriving for 11am in fact a little before then. Hope for good weather and to see many of you there.

Hi Kevan, Denise and I will attend the Duxford event on 8th June just prior to heading off for LeMans 24HR event with Lycian Events.

Sorry - can't make this now as fortunately am being taken to the Aston Martin factory for a tour. I'll keep my eyes open for the next one :)

One week to go, fingers crossed on the weather meet up around 11am in the car park.

I should be okay for the 8th (didn't get the mailchimp) doing Prescott on the 7th so the car may be a little dirty.

11am in the car park.

Anyone driving down via A52 / A1 south past Bingham (Notts) on Thursday morning and we could possibly drive down together ?

Leaving SW London after voting! Should be there 11ish. Recently changed Cayman for Boxster so expect terrible weather

Reports are showing weather to be variable for Thursday and no doubt all of the cars will be dirty to some degree, I will be driving over from MK on the day, did a postal vote a few days ago!

See you all there!

Hi Kevan,

Just a quick 'Thank You' for organising today's outing. Excellent event, great venue, and lovely to meet some fellow Caymanistas.

The suggestion over coffee and cake was Caymans to Stuttgart (or Leipzig) next! I'm in!

Kind regards,

John

Thanks John, it was good to see so many Caymans in the car park today, still wondering about the white Cayman surrounded by police cars on the M11 but if he was on his way to meet us then he has probably been detained. We did a register trip to Stuttgart four years ago and while initial response was good we went from ten cars checked in to go, down to two and got two more before the date, it was a good trip for those who went and I've done it twice alone over the years but whether I go or not I am willing to set it up for others and can advise some other visits on a short tour

Hmm... interesting. I passed a white 718 on the hard shoulder of the M11 Northbound - Highways Agency in attendance. Driver slouched in his seat. Didn't remember seeing it in the Duxford car park.

Kevan

Thanks for putting together a great day, I had not been to the Duxford museum before and was very impressed.

Everyone I spoke with felt it was a really good day and they were all keen to do more in the future.

It is very interesting to listen to others views of the club and Porsche ownership.

Great day

Thanks
