PSE question

Hi Lesworth,

If you look above, I was charged £1,747 for mine with the switch, but this is for a 996.

Are you asking for your 3.2 Carrera?.....Not sure if they do them!

No! Just curious as I'm toying with the idea of upgrading models at some point and want to improve the sound. This sounds like a good way to go...

Yes the PSE is normally VERY loud at high rpm / throttle! Wouldn't have it any other way [;)]

As an aside, they're also extremely good for checking if your engine is running right. They sound really sweet if everything is as it should be. Anything not right and they sound so flat, agricultural and off-beat that you immediately and unmistakably know a trip to the menders is required! It's like having a built-in diagnostic tester. The standard exhaust just isn't revealing enough to be able to tell from the sound alone.

Hi Phillippe,

It has been a while and I'm guessing that you've been to OPC Cambridge by now.....

Were they able to leave it on loud permanently, and have the switch turn it on and off?

Thanks,
Hasan
