PSE

Worth every penny in my opinion!!

Especially if you disconnect the cut-out switch to leave it on all the time.

Before I had PSE my license was under serious jeapody as I would thrash the car to very high revs to get some driving pleasure. Now all I need is a 'little' blip with my right foot and a big smile comes over my face!! [:D]

THE best and most critical option on a 997 if you ask me.

No, my insurance with Porsche Insurance didn't mind at all. Definitely tell them of any changes you make to the car.

I have mine set to always noisy and have from new. People do comment that it is louder than PSE just operating normally i.e. kicking in at certain revs etc.

I think I was advised to put some electrical tape over the plug so it doesn't get dirty.

As for the other questions, mine isn't a switchable exhaust / I think because I have chrono??

Tks for the reply jamie. I dont have sports chrono so its just the exhaust button. I think the Guy from Porsche suggested using a cable tie to stop the lead from flapping about. Fair point about tape over the plug though Tks

Of course, don't forget the most important part of the PSE experience!! Next time you are driving through a tunnell or under a bridge, drop your windows, slow right down, select a suitable low gear and floor it. It is unreal!
