Put a deposit down on my new car today....

Just collected it and the drive home was great, lovely little car. Now understand what all the fuss is about. Slight niggle with the fuel gauge but hopefully filling right up will cure it. i did wonder for a few minutes if Deb had put the fuel in the boot. Manual in the post so i'll get up to speed next week. Guess i'll be driving a lot in the next few days. Tim

Cool, how comes it's not your car but you put down a deposit? Didn't buy it for the wife did you???? Post up some pics :)

Didn't buy it for the wife did you????
Big birthday and she's a bit of a petrolhead. i do have permission to borrow it regularly though. She got up at 5 this morning just to have another look! Fuel gauge problem seems fairly standard and all ok this morning. Perfect weather for a topless commute. Tim

Ahhhh fair enough. Are you sure it's not one of those ways to indirectly buy yourself a new toy ;) Hope you both anjoy her :)
