Questions about overheating and damaged wheel

Thanks Richard, perhaps I should consider challenging Wiltshire County Council again, though their claims department have now rejected me twice.

Another visit to the site of the pothole would not go amiss, actually it’s not so much a pothole more that the edge of the carriageway is breaking up.

Tonbridge OPC have been good so and kept me updated.

They have replaced the 'valve block', which I believe replaces all of the vacuum valves, but they have also found a faulty temperature sensor. Apparently they haven't had this issue before but the vacuum valves going is not uncommon.

My app says that the car has been put in privacy mode - is that normal when it's at a dealer?

They have told me that it's 'pulling' slightly and they suggest that they do an alignment for £330. That seems like Centre Gravity prices, but I am in Kent and they are about 2.5 hours from me, which is a long way to go during a partial lockdown (although at least I could also use the trip to test my eyesight).

Thoughts?

Depends how enthusiastic you are to have the correct handling for you. It's mostly M40, so not a great imposition. Many enthusiasts come from a much further away to get theirs done.
I've taken my cars there for the last 10 years and I live in North Devon. [8|]
My tip would be to leave early to get the morning slot, then if necessary you have the rest of day to put matters right. [;)]

Regards,

Clive
