As the man in the middle, I can offer what I believe is a balanced view if people want to hear it.

I will not, however, put that view down here as those with axes to grind on both sides will undoubtedly use bits of it to justify their positions.

All I would say is that I am very disappointed for the average member.

I hope the Board learn from this episode and that Helen continues to work for the Club as an enthusiastic member.

It is time to close this chapter and move on.

This whole scenario, leaves me wondering whether Jack Bauer is going to run around the corner at any time shouting:- "Come on Mrs President (Goff)- we only have 22 minutes to save the PCGB"..

(Cue dramatic music, break to adverts...)

I'm not sure I understand all the nuances of this one so I'm going to watch from the sidelines from now on. [8|]

Maybe I could get my `George Davis is innocent` T shirts over printed. I still have 223 of them in stock. Wonder how many of you are old enough to remember George Davis![&:]
